The dance was never just the steps.

Dance lives through music and memory, through food and celebration, through the people and places that keep culture alive.

Technique can teach you how a movement is made. Cultural experience helps you understand where it comes from, how it is felt and why it matters.

Jusoor—Arabic for “bridges”—brings these worlds together. Over six months, Roxxanne guides participants into real Arab cultural spaces where learning becomes lived, personal and connected.

Arrive with context. Leave with connection.

Each month is designed as a chapter in one continuous journey—not a disconnected outing.

01 · Prepare

Begin with the cultural, historical and musical context that helps you see more once you arrive.

02 · Experience

Visit a selected venue or gathering and experience it through Roxxanne’s personal guidance.

03 · Reflect

Connect what you witnessed to your understanding of Arab dance, identity, artistry and community.

A journey through place.

The six-month core program runs from September through February, with an August welcome and a March final show completing the journey.
